It's the longest day of the year today on this side of the world! Time for enjoying summer, preferably with good food and drinks. One of my many favourite light dinners is roasted fennel salad with oranges. So it was time time to write this simple dish down. Recipe via link in bio.
A town where the first known building is a temple for a sun god and where they have an urban waterfall must be a good place. Surely, Jajce and the nearby Pliva Lakes are special and great to visit!
Last week's long weekend called for a trip to Bosnia. A long weekend is certainly not enough, but at least I got a little taste of the nature and culture of this country. I went to a city described as boring in my tourist guide, I could only disagree with that! It might be a lesson in setting expectations and trying to understand where you are traveling to as well.
